So at our table we use pictures and such when describinbg a scene,creature,ect. Not exclusively but often enough as a picture immeadiately gets all the information across to the players in a split second of time. This is of course one small part as I or our other GM describes details the picture may not. We have found this to be a very quick way of communicating with our players and gives them a visual to mentally hold on to.
