Was watching a review video of the Mork Borg rpg last night on youtube and a bunch of suggestions popped up on the right of the screen for "dungeon synth" music.  Several had OSR logos and one is the "official" Mork Borg RPG soundtrack, composed by a German (of course) band named Gnoll.  So, of course I clicked on it and promptly bought it for 6 euros.  You can listen here for free:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad_qMrqwLpM&t=671s

Also picked up this little nugget from a group called Kobold: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hEyfHg6rm0

To me these sound like soundtracks from 80s sword & sorcery films, which is pretty fun.

"Could you fancy me as a pirate bold?  Or a longship Viking warrior with the old gods on his side?  Well, I'm an inshore man and I'm nobody's hero.  But I'll make you tight for a windy night and a dark ride."--Jethro Tull

This is good s***, guys. Even though Hyperborea is about as Metal as they come I think there is a place for darker, 80's style dungeonsynth and other music as well. I recommend Ennio Morricone's hugely underrated soundtrack for 1982's The Thing for conjuring a cold and alien Mountains of Madness mood.
