Just got this from ebay; art by Jason Thompson. The drawing have a 90s indy comic look to me. It seems a straight adaption of the same story by C.A.S. but it does capture the vibe of ASSH. I would definately bring it to my assh games for new players to read and draw inspiration from.

ETA. I just realised that the artist that did the drawings also did those awesome walk-through maps of old-school D&D modules.

The sadly inactive podcast The Double Shadow has an episode discussing the Tale of Satampra Zeiros with Jack Thompson as a guest.  It's a good listen.
