Because of the insanity of this I'm posting this all over the place.

The boy wanted a D&D like adventure for his bday.

Part of it is a dragon piñata. Here's the construction of it so far. Nothing much to look at but it's destined to get the crapped beaten out of it.

While the event will be far too close to a LARP for my comfort the boy will have a helluva time, and hopefully his friends. We've traded complexity of cake construction for complexity of event the birthday party events.

I'll write it up for your critique after the fact. It's sort of consuming our waking hours this week.
