HYPERBOREA / Character creation question. Class and skills?

Thanks for the quick response. I totally agree that Dex is just way too good in 5e. Unfortunately, I've played a ton of it so I'm having to mentally break away from that rule set.

He can use his Dex for a to-hit modifier if he hurls his daggers.
