Re: Favorite Horror Flicks?

We watched Shivers the other night. David Cronenberg, 1975, parasite-infested Canadian rape zombies in the apartment building of the future. A lot going on. A lot going on.

Now that I've met you, and know your voice and mannerisms, your posts always crack me up.

Re: Favorite Horror Flicks?

I'm not sure whether these constitute "horror" or not, but I've been enjoying the t.v shows Penny Dreadful and American Horror Story.

Re: Favorite Horror Flicks?

Oh, and I watched "The Curse of Frankenstein" (1957) recently to help me write an academic review. I was pleasantly surprised.

Re: Favorite Horror Flicks?

I couldn't resist the opportunity to ponder on my favourite horror films! One or two of the following may not be horror, strictly speaking, but they're close enough:

Nosferatu (1922)
Dracula (1958)
The City of the Dead (1960)
Rosemary's Baby (1968)
Twins of Evil (1971)
Countess Dracula (1971)
Vampire Circus (1972)
The Wicker Man (1973)
Suspiria (1977)
Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979)
Zombi 2 (1979)
Cannibal Holocaust (1980)
Opera (1987)
