[Well, lets hope Turok does not die before Narrhil gets to meet him.

Turok picks himself up off the floor , banged up and bruised pretty good, motioning to his crew,
"I'm okay, come on down."

The mutes nod and quickly slide down to join the shaman on a raised 25 ft wide crescent shaped dais overlooking a 40 x40 stonewalled room. Its contents, a few badly charred wooden pews are tied together and to a pair of broken doors at the far end. There are frozen carcasses of slain wolves among the littered pages of destroyed books strewn everywhere nearly buries in the ice and snow coming through the burned out ceiling. A melted harp of gold is against the righthand wall. There is a 3x 6 ft pool of dark murky water with a crisp layer of thin ice on its surface behind you at the back of the dais.

Turning to the mutes, "Do you see where the others went too?, tracks on the ground? maybe through those broken doors?"

They look at the ground with the shaman. There are tracks through the snow back and forth from the door to the opening beside the dais. To the harp. Circling the wolf carcasses. Around where the pews used to be... just a mess of everywhere.

"Let us first check the area here then through the door there", pointing to the door next to the dias.
After a quick search, the scouts move through the door cautiously with Turok following.

The Scouts have not returned.
The mutes aren't necessarily following the Shaman's commands at present, instead after checking to see that room beyond is empty, they hop down from the dais and move to the door, looking outside for signs of the Scouts.

Turok just shakes his head...he moves to the door on the side of the dais and after carefully listening, cracks the door open slightly and peeks in.

If there was once a door there, it was burned to ash in whatever fire scorched this place.

Turok sees a narrow kitchen area. 10x 20 ft with the 2 high (15ft) broken out windows he recognizes from the outside courtyard. At the far end is a fireplace in the wall, a large kettle hanging from a chain within. Next to it in the right corner a small door is ajar. The floor has a much travelled trail of ice and mud from where he stands to the door.

[I still, here, just watching from afar. ]

Turok cautiously approaches the kettle and peers in, then peeks into the crack of the small door to discern what may be in there.

The kettle is empty.
Behind the door is a very narrow 2ft wide set of steps carved out of the stone wall descending to a room below. The inside of the door is covered in dried blood and deep scratches and gouges.

Turok listens intently for a moment then back tracks to the church...he signals to the mutes, "Find anything?"

FERRAND points to the floor and moves his fingers as legs walking away.
