Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

Let us know when it calms down and if you're OK.

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

Narrhil wonders what Keet has brought them down for.
He listens. There is no unusual noise or movement.

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

"So, Master Kéet, what seems to be the problem?" asked Narrhil.

[Did Narrhil not hear anything while outside the window in courtyard?]

“We’ll, I could have sworn there was a noise coming from down here.”

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

"Then let us continue, for this is where we presume the portal is to this other time!"

He extinguishes the torch, and readies his footman's pick.

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

[ Usually when the tough get going I'm first in line...but this is a rough one. I have multiple family members admitted into hospice across multiple states and their spouses are up in age so it's up to me to make sure things get done....hopefully sometime in the future I can get back to gaming...thanks it has been a load of fun! Good luck to you all!]

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

The floor feels suddenly fluid. Everyone struggles for balance. It ends as it begins with a clattered of steel on stone. Studded leather with dull and rusted battle axe and leather pouches clang to the floor where the great barbarian VOTIN vibrates out of existence as once before.

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

"By the gods, Votin, not again...," exclaims Narrhil, "...this place is surely accursed!"

[Is there a footman's pick in amongst that pile?]

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

Narrhil picks up his lent (more a gift) footman's pick with sadness, "Votin, rest well!" He says, for this time the man is without armour or weapons. Was it this time, the man truly dead?

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

Keèt jumps with surprize “What the hell? Does that happen often?”

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

"There has been one too many," informs Narrhil.

Narrhil starts collecting Votin's gear, in fact he starts donning the studded armour. "Better protection than cloth, and I have no major offensive spells to cast at present."

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

"The spirits take Votin again!" Tillak prays to Y'thaq'ua that he is not next. [Do we have to take balance saves as the floor shifts, or is that just because Votin vanished into limbo?]

Votin's studded is old and frayed, weathered by salt watered air but improves your class to 6.
His axe is rusty and dull but with some muscle behind the swing can still deliver a death blow.
His 2 leather pouches gift 7 small garnets, 1 oriental emerald, and 34 gold.
[NARRHIL +5734XP for Votin's secret wealth]

Tillak feels Y'thaq'ua's defensive strength, retaining his footing as the wave subsides.
