The north trees behind you now silent as the wind there has slacked. And nothing seems changed as the group rounds the corner of the wrought iron fence and approaches the closed gate.

Narrhil looks for obvious tracks in the snow, the talking wolf might want revenge for being burned by his torch.
He waited till Votin or Tillak entered the graveyard, then he would join them.

Any tracks have been covered. The group moves through the headstones and into the courtyard.
The dome of Narrhil's magical light hangs overhead. The light snow is nearly melted away under it in the yard. The red dirt beginning to show through. There is a shovel, a small twine trap, some tiny bones, and broken glass under the broken out high windows. All the mysterious ice darts are now gone.
The rickety wooden stairway winds up about 30 ft to an old bell, its bronze crusted with a thick patina of age.

Narrhil kneels on one knee close to the shovel, attempting to examine, the small trap, the bones and their reasons for being there.

Tillak stands guard over Narrhil.

Votin stops to survey what Narrhil has found ... "If things seem safe, let us gather up theses items...we can use them later...Narrhil use caution...too many odd things are around here."

The shovel is old, wooden handle quite weathered, the spade tip is chipped.
The snare trap is twine attached to a small bent metal rod in the dirt.
The twine ensnares the bones of small game.
Its meat long gone.

Narrhil scan the items. "I predict a caretaker, who dugs the graves, while hunting and killing vermin to keep the place pristine!"
The Cryomancer carefully picks up the shovel, making sure it not trapped (no attached wires), though he cannot see how or why it would be...

The shovel is not trapped.
Narrhil has the shovel.

Narrhil secures the shovel to the outside of his backpack.
He looks at the graves, sometimes important items were buried with the deceased so someone might find it later and put it to good use. Still, the ground would be solid and very difficult to work through. If there had been left a clue, they had not found it yet...

Keet nods and hands over his pack, taking his weapons including the bow and climbs the stairs, looking around at the surroundings as he does so.
[I'm glad I checked but didn't get notified for the last two posts.]

[I still have trauma from 15 years ago when my character was the one that exceeded the weight of the stairs, causing them to collapse and drowning our gnome cleric. Poor little Gnizzle]
