Abominable Snowmen: Legend Come to Life

Currently reading the Ivan T. Sanderson classic, Abominable Snowmen: Legend Come to Life.  This is one of the foundational texts in the field of Cryptozoology.  Sanderson was one of the first celebrity "animal guys."  He traveled the world, investigating rare animals, appeared on TV shows, and wrote several books.  This was originally published in the early 1960s and reprinted in 2007.  He investigates ABSM (as he dubs them) stories from around the globe.  Generally an entertaining writer and a fun read from a historical perspective if you have any interest in Sasquatch/Yeti lore.

"Could you fancy me as a pirate bold?  Or a longship Viking warrior with the old gods on his side?  Well, I'm an inshore man and I'm nobody's hero.  But I'll make you tight for a windy night and a dark ride."--Jethro Tull
