Platinum Status

I was looking for new reviews of my favorite system and noticed the symbol above on Drivethru RPG.

It took 5 years but the land of Hyperborea has been lifted to the lofty heights of Platinum status.  It was not a meteoric rise of a product that found favor and then quickly faded.  Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea made the long hard slog through the Lug Wasteland to finally be recognized.  It will soon be time for the second edition to issue forth from deep places and take the same journey. To the first edition I say well done.

And sweat at the daily round,
While in my soul forever
The drums of Pictdom sound?”

Re: Platinum Status

It is an excellent accomplishment, and I'm very grateful for all my gaming fellows who helped make this happen.

Re: Platinum Status

Many a classic have taken the long road.  Indeed, by definition, it is the stamp of discerning taste and enduring appeal.  Well done and well deserved!
