I call shenanigans!  A coffee cup?

I've noted in the past that chainsaw maintains a careful balance of caffeine and alcohol; real food optional. ;)

I've run this exact adventure in my home campaign, by the amazing Harley Stroh! Events from that adventure had a huge impact on our campaign. I would have to look back at my notes to see any swap-outs, though. Great little adventure, though. I recommend it!

Thanks, Druvas. I will be listening to it today while combing through VOLUME VI edits. Perfect mood music. ;)

Whoa! Thanks for posting that image up Jeff! Del really did a great job with that and the interior piece. Thanks for the kind words, as well, Jeff.

Hope you enjoy it Chainsaw! If you have the version that appeared in AFS Magazine, you'll recognize most of it.

My pleasure, Joseph!

This is a fantastic adventure, brought to you by two members of the North Wind Adventures family: Joseph Salvador and Del Teigeler. Check out this cover!

I have run this adventure for my home group, and it was a heck of a lot of fun. It has action, mystery, suspense, and it's oozing with flavor!

Between Joseph's writing, maps, and illustrations, and Del's cover and illustrations, this is a real winner, folks. I'm pretty sure Handy loves this adventure, too.

Go get it! It's only 3 lousy bucks!

Cheers,
Jeff T.

State of the original AS&SH boxed set:

- Last night I sold the last standard boxed set available on the web site.
- Fifteen remaining sets are on their way to Gary Con IX.
- Working on a "FINAL 20", special edition sets with orange-covered manuals, each to be signed and numbered, first come, first serve, no reservations (so please don't ask!), one per customer. These will likely go live post-Gary Con.
- And that's it! No more boxes! On to the AS&SH 2E hardback!

Cheers,
Jeff T.

Last night I ran the forthcoming AS&SH adventure, "The Strange Tale of Crystal Point," written by the mysterious man known as Chainsaw. We had a great session. During one encounter, the adventurers faced a barnacle-covered Atlantean necromancer that blasted the party with a lightning bolt. They survived the first strike, but then the bolt bounced back at them, and the Viking Runegraver and Kelt-mix Thief were roasted. We had a great time! Cheers! ~Jeff T.

My personal copies have taken a beating. This thread reminds me that I should probably make a set that I place an bubblewrap and keep for myself. I'll put it in the same box with my one remaining Upper Works set.

He's simply the best there is, IMO. Love his work. I have since the early 90s, when I first discovered Xenozoic Tales. If you don't believe, I have photographic evidence. Here I am, circa 1993, wearing my Xenozoic Tales shirt:
