Is that the early access date/time? Or the regular time?

Well, I put in for a game Thursday night 5-9, and Sat morning 8-12. Haven't heard back yet, but as I was putting in, I saw that the RPG tables had been fully booked. so I'm hoping. I'll be running an almost complete back end of the game I've run the past two years. Who knows I may run the whole module through from the beginning...

If I get both positions they there will be a total of 5 GMs running 12 games of Hyperborea at TotalCon!!!

There are a lot of the historical gods missing from the land above the north wind. Just look at the Norse Parthenon completely gone.

Remember this is a world that has been in a way,  disconnected from the old world.

So who has plans for games so far?

Thinking of writing up an extension to the one I’ve been running the past couple years.

I would think that it would take a Blacksmith of Exceptional talent to be able to forge anything out of it, but if he did, it might merit magical qualities without necessarily being magical. Of course the cash to cover the Blacksmith and the expences would be substantial.

The primary issue would be the actual heating and forging of the metal, Meteoric iron has been subugated to temps over 4k degrees and hardened, to forge you'd have to have the knowledge to be able to get a forge up to at least that, which would be a hell of alot of coal and several people on bellows constantly. A normal forge will only come up to 2K-2.5K, so 4K is almost exponentially hotter, and you'd have to get to 4K to break down the hardness and then after forging would need to go back to re-harden the steel...

Here is a link for the colors, temps and melting points of various steels..

and another with Blacksmiths specifically talking about working with meteoric Iron.

And a longer discussion of Forging Meteoric Iron...

I am unsure why Hollywood tastemakers have not given 80's sword and sorcery a reboot. Maybe it's for the same reasons that metal isn't very mainstream, either.

I created an Adventure called Raiders!. For a con, I pair down the number of random encounters, and reduce the size/level of the "required" encounters. I also normally run more of a sandbox game, wherein a Con I railroad the players down the path towards the adventure. Normally in Cons, the games are 4 or so hours, I can squeeze my current module into a 2-hour window provided I don't have any disruptive players that have a tendency to slow things down.
